Electric Hook up Cable
A 240V electric hook up cable is essential for motorhomes if you wish to connect to mains power on a campsite or parkup. Life is a lot easier in a motorhome when you have a 240v supply.
Levelling Ramps
Motorhome levelling ramps are essential for several reasons, especially when you’re out exploring in your home-on-wheels. Getting your motorhome level is essntial. It doesn’t have to be eaxct, however getting it close is important. Water draink from the sink or shower, or even your fridge working correctly, comes down to the motorhome being level.
Levelling Device
Remember, investing in a reliable levelling device contributes to a more enjoyable and hassle-free motorhome experience! As stated above, levelling your motorhome can be essential. This is for basics such as waste water draining correctly or your fridge operating correctly.
Plates, Bowls, Cups etc
Plastic plates, bowls, and cups are highly recommended for use in motorhomes due to several practical reasons. Nobody wants their crockery breaking due to vibrations whilst travelling. Plastic ones also cause less noise when the do knock each other (ie rattles when driving).
Whistling Kettle
There is something so comforting about the sound of a whistling kettle in your motorhome or campervan. It means your coffee (or tea) is just about ready. If you are like me, I need a morning coffee to start my day.
This 2.5l kettle provides the ideal compromise on size, weight and price.
Food Grade Hose Pipe
If you have a water tank, you need a food grade hose pipe. There are many reasons for this as listed here.
A food grade hose pipe is pretty much the same price as non food grage hose, so it makes sense to get the most suitable one.
Motorhome Jump Starter
If you end up with a flat vehicle battey, especially in an isolated or remote area, this can be a life saver. At a cost where you get change out of £40 can you afford not to have one.
Despite its small size and light weight (830g) its rated for up to a 5.5l diesel or 7l petrol engine. Read more about it here.

MAYPOLE HOOK-UP EURO 230V LEAD
Many campsites in the EU use a standard 2 pin socket for electric hook-up. This adapter allows you to use your standard hook-up cable and connect to a 2 pin socket. This came in very handy for me when I parked on a friends drive in Spain, It allowed me to connect my hook-up cable to an electrical socket in his property.

Power Station with 240v Output
I have put the power station under “Nice to have” where in reality to me it is an essential. I work from my van, and have some items which are 240v only, and a 12v charger isn’t an option.

Tyre Repair Kit
A tyre repair kit is an essential item for any vehicle, not just motorhomes. Many vehicles no longer come supplied with a spare wheel.

Toilet Chemicals
Toilet Chemicals may not be the most exciting of topics, however they are an essential for any trip you have planned away in your motorhome.
Motorhom/Caravan toilets can easily become smelly and unhygienic. Whether that be from the waste or the flush tank, it’s important that you look after both properly in order to keep the caravan toilets smelling fresh and clean.
