Camping Parque Tropical – Estepona

Camping Parque Tropical is located between Estepona and San pedro De Alacantara in the Costa Del Sol. I have stayed here several times in the motorhome, but have also rented one of their bungalows previously. Despite how frequent I have stayed here, I havent taken that many photos.

Well they say that size isn’t everything. This is quite a small campsite but that doesn’t mean that its a bad thing. It boasts an indoor swimming pool and a super restaurant. The food in the restaurant is a bit pricier than other places, however the quality is excellent.

For the motorhome I was paying less than 30 euro a night in the height of summer (August 2024) which I thought was a bargain. They also allow you to empty your grey water etc for 6 euro if you aren’t staying on the site. Washing machines are available in addition to the expected showers etc.

The small onsite shop sells some basics including food, beer and wine. The toilet / washing facilities are exceptionally clean. The pool is more than adequate. Located just outside the campsite is a spanish bar / restaurant. Of course there is also the onsite restaurant.

Interestungly this site is recommended by The CAMC and discounts are available if you are a member which I am now, but wasn’t at the time.

In short this is a lovely little campsite in a superb location. Close to the beach, and close to Estepona. A short drive gets you to Puerto Banus or Marbella. Gibraltar isn’t very far away. One not to be missed if you are needing somewhere to stay in the local area.

Selwo Aventura Park is just up the road should you need to entertain children or any budding David Attenborough in the fmaily. The campsite advertise as having discounts available for the Aventura Park however I didn’t ask for details.
