Camping-Car Park Bapaume France

Camping-Car Park Bapaume is about an hours drive from Calais in the direction of Paris. It’s one of the hundreads of Camping-CarPark stops. This isn’t a free stop, but it’s well worth the money. This appears to be the case for the 100’s of other locations that they offer.

I couldn’t belive that I hadn’t heard of these stops before leaving the UK. Prices vary, per location, with this stay being 12 Euro. So what do you get for your money. A safe & secure parking spot with barrier entry and departure. Free elctric hook up and wifi. Fresh water is available, as is grey and black disposal.

As it was the first time I had visited such a site, I had to create an account using the information machine at the entrance. This also produced my membershipo card, the downside I had to add 50 euro to the account to start. This will not be a problem as I am in france for quite some time.

They have an app available for android and apple phones. This makes finding a site very easy, it also shows how many spaces are available at each site. As you would expect you can search for sites nearby your location or via town name etc.

The pitches are quite large and level. So no need to get your levelling ramps out. Phone signal on O2, Orange and Three were all good (Using French networks of course). A mere 100 yard work and you are at a slection of shops, cafes, take-a-ways and even a launderrete. Aldi is about a 5 minute drive away.
